Obama to Visit Indonesia, Australia on March Trip, Gibbs Says

President Barack Obama will travel to Indonesia and Australia in March as the administration seeks to strengthen links to the region, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said.

Obama plans to formally announce a U.S. partnership with Indonesia, which has the world’s biggest Muslim population, Gibbs said, without providing details.

The trip will take place in the second half of March, he said.
