Laguna Beach the ideal retreat for leisure travelers

I remember the days when you could drive down the Pacific Coast Highway and enjoy, through a series of several coastal towns, each with its own charm and local color. For the most part, those days are gone, and Highway 1 is now a seemingly endless stream of malls, traffic jams and rampant development more. A notable exception is Laguna Beach.

Laguna has always been known as a haven for artists, nature lovers and very wealthy. Its beaches range from the expansion of privacy, and are among the most beautiful west coast. The hills forming the eastern edge of the spectacular growth of the city, the sea, and houses perched on them to show that the architecture is eclectic and imaginative.

Downtown, you can find anything from designer clothes to buy funky new shops, tacos and fish restaurants and art galleries and small shops abound. There really is something for everyone in Laguna and visitors often have to return again and again.

So if you are looking for natural beauty or restaurants, a day at the beach or a day of shopping, sightseeing or sitting in a cafe near the beach, enjoying their favorite drink, a visit to the lagoon is to give an overview of heart and soul of Southern California. Indulge and spend the day at Laguna Beach.
