Downtown Atlanta is a hotbed of activity for residents and visitors. The best things to do in Atlanta center around Underground Atlanta and throughout the International Drive.
Metro offers live music, shops and restaurants. It is well known for its atmosphere and has been updated in recent years to keep the area fresh and exciting for visitors. Underground Atlanta is also the site for a number of festivals and celebrations.
Around the corner is International Drive. On International Drive, Atlanta is the new World of Coca-Cola, which tells the story of Coca-Cola and offers visitors a sample of international flavors of Coca-Cola. Kids and adults alike consistently rank the World of Coke as one of the best places to go and things to do in Atlanta.
International Drive is also the site of the Olympic Park in Atlanta. The Olympic Park is worth visiting not only for its historical value, but because there is always a family day out can be found in and around the park. This is one of the most important festival in Atlanta and is particularly suitable for music festivals. Spouting fountains allow kids a chance to cool off in the heat of an Atlanta summer. During the winter months, part of the Olympic Park is transformed into a center for ice skating popular.
