Great Place on the Oregon Coast

Christmas this year was held in a charming little place on the Oregon coast. Yachats, Oregon, is located south of Newport, Oregon, along Highway 101 to the Oregon coast.
Our Christmas party was spent in a picturesque place called La Posada Yachats. Yachats Inn sits right on the shore giving most of the rooms and apartments a great view of the ocean waves and activities.
The Yachats Inn has different types of rooms available, regular-type rooms with queen beds typical motel, bathroom and a small table and chairs, while some rooms include a living room with wood stove or fireplace, kitchen and beds to accommodate 4 to 6 people. There is a new section to this motel that has condominiums that accommodate 4 to 8 people with full kitchen, living room with gas fireplace, and separate bedrooms for guests.
Yachats The lodge has a great common living area that accommodates up to 20 people, two TV lounges with a large fireplace, full kitchen, computer room, bathroom and dining room seating 10 people. This is the room of our families spent Christmas Day, where we enjoy a full traditional Christmas dinner.
Yachats is located 22 miles north of Florence, Oregon home of large dunes of Oregon and buggy activities. Our group took the 22 miles on Saturday to enjoy a great afternoon of riding our single in the big buggies dunes of Oregon. There are several areas to rent along the dunes and beaches of Florence, the cost of 3 buggies and 2 quads for 1 hour came to $ 550.00. A bit expensive but well worth the money if this is an activity that the family enjoys.
There is much to do on the coast along this stretch of road, Sea Lion Caves, horseback riding, buggy rides, hiking, and the discovery of the light house, picnic, surfing, surf boarding and more.
The Yachats Inn indoor pool and jacuzzi in the room are all covered with a glass everywhere. It’s nice on a stormy night to enjoy the warmth of the pool or hot tub while watching the wild waves break along the dock to rise far above the waves.
Cost of rooms range from $ 65.00 to $ 105.00 per night plus tax, the kitchens are fully loaded with dishes and cooking utensils and the pool and the great room are open from 9:00 am to 9: 00 pm. Although they allowed us to occupy these areas for most of the night when we were there.
My family would recommend the Inn Yachats short or long stay in the Oregon Coast. Located in a very good and has all the makings of great and funny holidays. One thing that should be considered when deciding to stay in this place is that
no cell phone signal, no computer (WiFi) access, and no telephones. But if the family is looking calm, exciting, fun and relaxing this is a great place to choose.
